The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.
Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.
The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
